Very good analysis. Once Hollywood learns that it has a serious problem with audience resistance, it will have to re-brand itself in some way to inform its potential audience that new movies are non-woke or antiwoke. Disney has the most serious brand problem and may need to start calling itself "New Disney" or something.
I think it's worse than that. I think whatever rises from the ashes has to be completely disassociated with Disney. I'm talking new HQ city (outside CA), new name, and new leadership with any association with the past stuff completely scrubbed.
Think about the idea of "tolerance." Tolerating something isn't the same as agreeing with it. The very word implies a TEMPORARY state that can only persist as long as one is willing to put the energy into enduring that thing. Tolerance isn't acceptance, it's endurance.
Which means that after tolerance, there will always come the point of reaction. Tolerance then isn't a destination. It's not a permanent state of being. At best, it's a diversion from point A to point B.
We are now at point B.
Unfortunately, a lot of the people we've been tolerating for so long have yet to realize they've lost our good will.
Fantastic analysis!!!
Thank you! The funny thing is, I didn't even know what a Kpop Demon Hunter was until about a week ago.
Ask my 13 year old about it and you’ll quickly lose the will to live…
Ha!
